Pastor John Eidsmoe is a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel, a retired Alabama State Defense Force Colonel, and a Mississippi State Guard Colonel and Chaplain, and a graduate of the Air Command & Staff College and the Air War College. He is Professor of Law at the Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy and in his various teaching assignments his students have given him the Outstanding Professor Award or Prof of the Year Award five times. He has served as Senior Staff Attorney with the Alabama Supreme Court and is currently Senior Counsel & Resident Scholar for the Foundation for Moral Law. He is an ordained pastor with the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations and serves on the Board of Lutherans for Life, on the Board of the Plymouth Rock Foundation, and on the Board of the Gospel Martial Arts Union, and is a constitutional attorney who has defended home schools, Christian schools, the right of students to study the Bible in public schools, and the right to display the Ten Commandments in the public arena. He has authored 14 books, including Historical & Theological Foundations of Law, Christianity & the Constitution, God & Caesar, and Columbus & Cortez, and has produced numerous audio and video lecture albums including The Institute on the Constitution and Here I Stand: A Biblical Worldview for a New Millennium. He holds seven academic degrees in law, theology, history, and political science. A lifelong student of the Crusades, he is a Knight Commander and Chaplain for the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem (smotj.org). He is a Third Degree Black Belt with the American Taekwondo Foundation, a Fifth Degree Black Belt with the Gospel Martial Arts Union, and a Fifth Degree Black Belt with Black Belts of the Faith International. Colonel Eidsmoe is an avid horseman and skier, and tries to get 8 hours of sleep every week. He and his wife Marlene have been married since 1970, have three children (David, Kirsten, and Justin) and live in rural Pike Road, Alabama.

DARWINIAN EVOLUTION
Scientific model of origins

HISTORY
Bible: Downward. Man created by God in ideal state, sinned, fell, getting worse,
no hope except for grace of God through Cross of Christ.
Darwin: Upward. Man started as one-celled organism, evolved, getting better, stronger, smarter, will continue to evolve and create heaven on earth.
NATURE OF MAN
Bible: Man created in God's image with soul, responsible for actions.
Darwin: Man is highly-evolved animal, no soul, not responsible for actions.
MAN AND NATURE
Bible: God created man distinct from nature, dominion over nature, stewardship.
Darwin: Man part of nature, no better than nature, not responsible for nature.
Survival of fittest: no basis for saving endangered species.
MORALITY
Bible: God sets standards of right and wrong.
Darwin: Man sets standards of right and wrong, or there are no standards.
Dostoevsky: "Without God, anything is permissible."
PSYCHOLOGY
Bible: Man must acknowledge sin, repent, be transformed through Christ.
Darwin (later Freud): Man must get rid of illusion of sin, accept self.
SEXUALITY
Bible: God created man male and female, distinct role for each, marriage.
Darwin: Man can choose own sexual preference, gender, etc.
SANCTITY OF LIFE, ABORTION
Bible: God created us in His image, gave us infinite value, human life sacred.
Darwin: Man evolved from animals, no more value than any other animal, abortion therefore acceptable.
SCRIPTURE
Bible: Scripture inspired by God, first 5 books through Moses, reliable.
Darwin: Scripture written by men, much later than Moses, filled with error.

Darwin: Continue evolving into something better.

Admiral Robert Fitzroy held up immense Bible, implored audience to believe God rather than man. "I believe that this is the Truth, and had I known then what I know now, I would not have taken him [Darwin] aboard the Beagle."
Believe this Book (The Bible), the Book of Life and Truth.
Not this book (Darwin), the book of death and error.

2015 CONSTITUTION OF NEPAL Preamble:
"We, the Sovereign People of Nepal, internalizing the people's sovereign right and right to autonomy and self-rule, while maintaining freedom, sovereignty, territorial integrity, national unity, independence and dignity of Nepal...,"
Desire for freedom is universal. But some worldviews (like Christianity) are conducive to freedom, others (like Darwinism) are conducive to tyranny.
DARWINISM LEADS TO BELIEF THAT THERE IS:
No God.
No Higher Law of God. Law is man-made.
Man evolves.
Law evolves as man evolves.
Man's highest authority, the State, makes man's law. No limits on power of State to make law.
No limits on state's power.
Even constitution not effective limit, because State can change constitution. No such thing as unjust law, because no Higher Authority to say it is unjust.
No unalienable God-given human rights.
The State gives "rights," so the State can take away "rights."
DARWINISM LEADS TO:
Nazism. Hitler, Mein Kampf:
" If nature does not wish that weaker individuals should mate with stronger, she wishes even less that a superior race should intermingle with an inferior one; because in such cases all her efforts, throughout hundreds of thousands of years, to establish an evolutionary higher stage of being, may thus be rendered futile." Nazis believed:
State superior to individual,
Nazi state represented German people, German people evolved into master race.
Master race should dominate other races.
Jews were parasite race, should be exterminated.
Marxism: Vision of human race evolving and living without God. Marx wanted to dedicate English version of Das Kapital to Darwin:
"Darwin's book is very important and serves me as a basis in natural science for the class struggle in history."
North Korean Ju-Che
North Korean people evolved into master race, under leadership of Kim il Sung, Kim Jong-il, and Kim Jong-un.
North Korean people must therefore be self-reliant under leadership.
BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW OF JUDAISM & CHRISTIANITY IS CONDUCIVE TO FREEDOM.
Higher Law of God
Ordains human government
Places limits on human government
Grants unalienable human rights that State may not take away.
Sinful Nature of Man
Means government is necessary to restrain exercise of sin.
Means those who run government have sinful nature too, cannot be trusted with absolute power.
Two Kingdoms, Church and State

對自由的渴望是普遍的。但是一些世界觀（如基督教）是倡導自由的，其他（如達爾文主義）則有利於暴政。
達爾文主義導致信仰：
無神論
沒有更高的上帝律法。
法律是人建立
人進化
法律跟著人一起進化
人的最高權威，國家，制定人的法律。對國家制定法律的權力沒有限制。
對國家權力沒有限制。
甚至憲法也無法被限制，因為國家可以改變憲法。
沒有不可剝奪的上帝賦予的人權
國家給的權利，所以國家也可以撤回權利。
達爾文主義導致：
納粹主義。希特勒，我的奮鬥
“如果大自然不希望弱者和強者交配，那麼她就更不希望一個優越的民族和一個劣質的民族有交集。因為如此以來，她經過幾十萬年的努力去建立一個進化到更高階的生物系統將會徒勞無功。”
納粹相信：國家優於個人，納粹國家代表德國人民，德國人民進化了到大優等民族。
優等民族應該要統治其他種族。
猶太人是寄生種族應該要被消滅。
馬克思主義：人類在沒有上帝的情況下進化和生活的願景。馬克思想把英國版的達斯凱皮塔獻給達爾文：

北韓人民在金日成，金正日和金正恩的領導下進化成了大師級的種族。北韓人民因此必須在領導下自力更生。

意味著政府必須限制犯罪。
