*We are an organization of evangelical Christians. We believe: in one God eternally existent in three Persons; in the inerrancy, inspiration and authority of the Bible; in physical and spiritual death as consequences of the Fall; in the inheritance of a sinful nature from Adam; in the incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross as an atoning sacrifice, physical resurrection, ascension, and second coming of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; humans have sinned against God, and because of sin are separated from God and justly condemned to suffer eternal, conscious punishment for sin in hell; the only way to be saved from the just penalty of sin is to repent and believe in Jesus Christ, thereby receiving imputed righteousness; this salvation is completely by grace, apart from any human works or merit; the saved will live forever in glorified bodies with God in the new heavens and new earth.

*The Bible is the Word of God, verbally and plenarily inspired and inerrant in the original autographs. Its assertions are factually true. It is accurate and authoritative in all it says, including in matters of faith, conduct, history, and natural science.

*The physical (mass-energy-time-space) universe and everything in it was directly, supernaturally created by God in six literal, normal length, consecutive days as measured on earth. These six days were not preceded by or interspersed with any other time periods. Scripture teaches a recent origin for man and the whole creation.

*All types (kinds) of living things were directly, supernaturally created by God during those six days. Subsequently, variation and decay has occurred within the limits of those originally created types, but no fundamentally new types of life forms have arisen, nor has there been a fundamental change from one type of life form into another.

*On the sixth day of creation, the first two human beings were directly, supernaturally created, Adam from dust and Eve from Adam’s rib, in God’s image. All humans are descendants of this original pair.

*As a consequence of the first two humans’ choice to sin (the Fall), the entire creation was cursed by God and fundamentally changed. Death, both physical and spiritual, entered the world after and as a result of the Fall.

*Noah’s flood, as described in Genesis, was an actual historical event, global in extent and impact, and essential to the explanation of much of the geological record.

*The actual facts of biology, geology, astronomy and the other natural sciences, when properly understood, are congruent with the inspired statements of the Bible. Assertions of scientific or other theories which are in absolute, irreconcilable contradiction with the Bible are incorrect.

*Although it is possible to be a Christian and attain salvation without a comprehensive understanding and affirmation of the biblical account of Creation, the Fall, and the Flood, these underlie many biblical doctrines, including the Gospel itself.
